Kimmins Marks 100th Anniversary

This year, Kimmins Contracting Corp., one of Tampa’s oldest and most experienced civil, specialty construction, and demolition firms, is proud to announce one of the biggest milestones in our company history -- the 100th anniversary of our founding.

We are thrilled to invite you to join us in commemorating this milestone for our company and our community. Follow us throughout this year to learn more about the Kimmins team and family, and the role we play in keeping Tampa Bay’s utility services up and running.

While our trademark “K” can be found around many construction sites in Tampa Bay, what you may not know is that a lot of our work is also done below ground. We work hand in hand with utility service providers like Tampa Electric and Hillsborough County Water, and on site at such prominent places as Tampa International Airport and Water Street. We are there, keeping Tampa Bay growing and moving forward.

Our decades of service in the community have given us the knowledge and experience to master Tampa’s utility infrastructure. We know all the nooks and crannies of Tampa's utility infrastructure, since we have been an integral part of building and maintaining it for generations. Simply put, we’re the catalyst that keeps the Tampa Bay area running 24/7, for virtually any kind of utility service maintenance, installation, repair, or emergency.

You can see how we bring together this experience, versatility, and community commitment all around Tampa Bay. Some of our most notable achievements include work at these well-known sites:

·       Construction of the new roads for Water Street.

·       Replacement of the water main for Harbour Island.

·       Demolition of a parking garage at Tampa International Airport.

·       Improvement of the stormwater drainage in South Tampa.

·       Renovation of the Howard F. Curren Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant in South Tampa.

Stay tuned throughout our 100th year to discover more about our rich history of service and community partnership, and our vision for the next 100 years!
